Guide prices before VAT for clear, accessible floors. Floors must be clear enough for the scanner to see the surface.
What drives the price
Area and layout
One open warehouse floor is quick to scan. The same area split into offices, corridors and plant rooms needs far more scanner positions.
What's on the floor
The scanner measures what it can see. Pallets, materials or access equipment on the slab hide the surface behind them, so a clear floor costs less and gives a complete result.
Phasing
Surveying each bay as it's poured catches problems while the floor contractor is still working. It means more visits, which we price as one programme rather than separate call-outs.

Questions we get asked
How much does a floor flatness survey cost?
With Dimensure, a floor flatness survey costs from £325 for a screed in a home or small unit, from £595 for a floor up to about 2,500 m², and from £1,195 up to about 10,000 m². Every survey includes the full-floor heat-map, pass or fail against your specified class and the point cloud. Prices are before VAT.
Is a scanned floor survey more expensive than a straightedge survey?
Not usually per square metre, because the scanner covers a large floor quickly. And it measures the whole surface, so you don't pay for a resurvey to find the defects a grid of straightedge readings missed.
What makes a floor flatness survey cost more?
Very large floors, floors split into many rooms, columns or stored materials blocking the scanner's view, phased surveys as bays are poured, and urgent turnarounds.
